Earth 33 1/3, by R.D. ("Dicky") Howett and Tim Quinn
This is a satirical strip that was printed in Marvel UK publications. Here's some background behind this title, by the artist Dicky Howett himself: "There is currently in preparation a history book of Marvel UK covering the 1970s & 1980s which will include a section all about myself and writer Tim Quinn and our various Marvel UK humour cartoons. The "Earth 33 1/3rd" strips started in Marvel TEAM UP in 1980 as a response to the US Fred Hembeck strips used elsewhere. We thought that Hembeck was rather puny and decided to up the satire quotient. Our strips were used across all the Marvel titles in the UK. At one time we had 8 of these 'satire' strips published every month! Other half page strips included Bullpen Bedlam, The Fantastic 400, Jet Lagg, The Fairly Amazing Spider Hound, Hulk The Menace and The Concise History Of The Galaxy. Also a regular monthy Dr Who? magazine three framer plus full pagers and other Who type features ( some reprinted in the US version) plus two Dr Who comic books, The Dr Who Fun Book and It's Bigger On The Inside.
"I am not a comic book or strip fan at all and I no longer draw cartoons for a living, instead, I'm in the movie prop business, see www.golden-agetv.co.uk I recently filmed with Kevin Spacey in his movie Across The Sea. Writer Tim Quinn is a school teacher."
