The Heart of Juliet Jones, by Stan Drake

The Heart of Juliet Jones was a collaboration between Stan Drake and writer Elliott Caplin, brother of Al Capp.  The strip made its debut in March 1953 from King Features which began syndicating the strip as competition for Mary Worth, the leading soap opera strip of the time.  At the peak of its popularity, The Heart of Juliet Jones appeared in 600 newspapers.  Exquisitely drawn by Stan Drake, the strip is a favorite of many of his fellow cartoonists for its fine artwork.
