Conan the Barbarian


Example of Conan the Barbarian daily written by Roy Thomas and drawn by Ernie Chan, July 1, 1980.  Copyright Conan Properties Inc., distributed by The Register and Tribune Syndicate, Inc.  Art board size:  17" x 5 1/4".  Ernie Chan was one of the wave of artists who came to America from the Philippines whose work started appearing in American comic books during the 1970's.  Chan is best known for his work on Conan The Barbarian, but also worked on a number of different comic book titles including Batman, Claw the Unconquered, and many more.
