Debbi's Dates, DC Comics

Original art for page 1 of an 8-page story published in Debbi's Dates issue 6.  This is actually page 8 in the comic, and the story is titled "The Ski Champ".  Art is on standard comic art board, approximate size 10 3/4" x 15 3/4".  The logo has been cut from the page, but it is still a beautiful splash.  The art is by Henry Scarpelli, who first worked on the newspaper strip TV Tee-Hees (a strip that appeared in 150 newspapers in the 1960s and 70s).  His comic book work first appeared in a number of Dell TV titles, and he later did a number of teen titles for DC, Marvel, and Archie Comics.
